The purpose of this solicitation is to enhance corrections systems’ ability to implement and expand education and employment programs that serve individuals during incarceration and throughout their period of reentry into the community.

This program provides resources to support states and units of local government in planning, implementing, or expanding effective reentry and supervision practices and service delivery systems that address individuals’ needs and reduce recidivism.

This program provides funding to establish, expand, and improve treatment and recovery support services for people with substance use disorders during their incarceration and upon reentry into the community.

This program provides funding to support cross-system collaboration to improve public safety responses and outcomes for individuals with mental health disorders or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders who come into contact with the justice system.

This training and technical assistance program will provide coordination and third-party assessment support to the Justice Reinvestment Initiative.

Funding through this opportunity will be used to provide training and technical assistance to grantees and practitioners to improve correctional substance use disorder treatment programming and post-release outcomes for individuals who are incarcerated.

This opportunity will be used to help form partnerships with national training and technical assistance providers to offer key support, expertise, and coaching to states, prosecutors, and defense counsel in capital cases.

This opportunity will provide funding to establish and administer a Corrections Officer and Staff Safety and Wellness Center.

This opportunity is open to those identified to support projects designated for funding in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 (Public Law 117-103) that improve the functioning of the criminal justice system, prevent or combat juvenile delinquency, and assist victims of crime (other than compensation).

Through this opportunity, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) invites applicants who received an official request from BJA to apply for funding to continue work on a specific prior grant award.

Through this opportunity, BJA is seeking applications to plan, implement, and enhance drug court services, including service coordination, management of drug court participants, and recovery support services.
