This program seeks to increase access to evidence-based prevention and treatment, reduce overdose deaths, and support increased access to evidence-based substance use disorder treatment and recovery support services, including medication-assisted treatment, to treat incarcerated individuals.

With this solicitation, BJA seeks applications for funding to support prisons and state correctional agencies’ efforts to transform their cultures, climates, and physical spaces to create and sustain safe, humane, and effective environments for people who work, visit, and are incarcerated in them.
