Competitive solicitations

The purpose of this solicitation is to select a set of coordinated training and technical assistance (TTA) providers to deliver a wide range of TTA services to local, state, and tribal jurisdictions, service providers receiving funding under the Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force to Combat Human Trafficking Program and others as identified by OJP.

BJA’s STOP School Violence Grant Program is designed to improve school security by providing students and teachers with the tools they need to recognize, respond quickly to, and help prevent acts of violence.

Funding through this program will be used to enhance, test, implement, and evaluate policies, practices, and technology to address and reduce the use of contraband cellphones in correctional facilities.

Under this initiative, BJA will select an applicant to establish a pilot project to develop a national training model on current rapid identification technology and scientifically sound field collection and testing methods that can be used when drugs are discovered in the field.

This program will fund law enforcement agencies seeking to purchase body-worn cameras (BWCs) to establish or expand comprehensive body-worn camera programs with a specific and demonstrated plan to implement this technology to maximize the benefits of BWCs.

This opportunity is for an organization that will manage the distribution of funds for body-worn cameras and related program expenses to small and rural law enforcement agencies. This organization will also provide necessary training and technical assistance for these agencies.

This program strengthens states’ and territories’ ability to plan, implement, or enhance PDMPs by accommodating local decision-making based on state laws and preferences, while encouraging the replication of promising practices.

A Second Chance Act program, CAREERRS is designed to help communities establish education, vocation, and job training programs in their correctional systems that address employment challenges facing incarcerated youth and adults re-entering those communities and the workforce.
