This program assists state, local, and tribal jurisdictions in preventing and reducing intellectual property (IP) theft and related crime as well as supporting law enforcement in investigating and prosecuting IP crimes and reducing violent crime associated with IP cases and investigations.

This program supports efforts by both wrongful conviction review entities that represent individuals with postconviction claims of innocence to review individual cases, and conviction integrity or review units to enhance criminal justice system integrity.

The goal of this program is for prosecutorial agencies to incorporate innovative or evidence-based prosecution strategies as a fundamental component of their efforts to reduce crime and ensure public safety.

This program provides funding to state, local, and tribal law enforcement and prosecution agencies to support activities and expenses associated with the investigation and prosecution of cold case murders involving civil rights violations.

This program provides funding to support the prosecution of violent cold case crimes where a suspect (known or unknown) has been identified through DNA evidence.

This program provides student loan repayment assistance for local, state, and federal public defenders and local and state prosecutors who commit to extended service in those roles.

With this solicitation, BJA seeks to support small and rural agencies in their efforts to combat violent crime.
