The Wheeling Police Department (WPD) and the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) are a certified disparate jurisdiction in West Virginia submitting this application.

The disparate jurisdictions will use JAG funds for technology improvements and equipment and supplies to enhance its evidence room located in the newly renovated spacious police department, making it as state-of-the art as possible. This project prioritizes the welfare and safety of the community and of the officers.
