This opportunity is for an organization that will manage the distribution of funds for body-worn cameras and related program expenses to small and rural law enforcement agencies. This organization will also provide necessary training and technical assistance for these agencies.
BJA is seeking applications for funding through the FY 2020 Northern and Middle States Rural Law Enforcement Training and Technical Assistance Grant Program.
This program will provide resources, training and technical assistance to smaller, rural and tribal law enforcement agencies located in the northern and middle states of the United States to support their efforts to reduce violent crime, including drug-related crime and human trafficking.
OJP is sponsoring outreach sessions to educate rural and tribal organizations and agencies about how to apply for OJP funding to address public safety and victim service needs in their communities.
