FY21 Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant Program-Utah Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Forensic Services

The Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS) Bureau of Forensic Services (BFS) will utilize Coverdell funds to improve the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of forensic services in the State of Utah. Funding would be used to target four pressing issues in opioid and/or synthetic drug-related areas as well as non-opioid and/or synthetic drug-related areas: personnel, supplies and equipment maintenance, training, and continuation of accreditation.
