Meshik Tribal Court

The Native Village of Port Heiden will expand the current Tribal Court program in Port Heiden, Alaska. The Grant Manager and Grant Coordinator will enhance our existing Tribal Court by expanding our Tribal Code, and Tribal Court. We will have the staff attend the required CTAS new grantee orientation. We will purchase surveillance cameras for our courtroom, recording equipment for the courtroom, courtroom furniture, a computer for recording and court documents. We will purchase office supplies. We will support Tribal Judges. We will support legal fees for our legal team to review new diversion agreements, code development, and program development. We will rent a courtroom building, offices for employees, and cell phone reimbursement for employees to be able to communicate with other staff and entities.
