Crawford County Sheriff’s Office currently serves as the primary agency for 65% of the county’s population. In the date range (2016-2020) the Sheriff’s office investigated 82% of all aggravated assaults and 100% of homicides that accorded in Crawford County.

We are seeing a direct correlation between violent crimes and people in crisis. We would like to train a deputy specially trained to interact with persons in crisis. This individual would be a liaison directly to Human Services and be used to directly target violent crimes/people in crisis.
