Body-Worn Camera Program for Arlington County

Arlington County is proposing to expand its existing Body-Worn Camera (BWC) program to allow for more sworn law enforcement staff to have reliable access to regular use of camera devices, and to provide the docking stations, warranty, licensing, support software, and other services necessary to use and maintain same. Through the expansion of an existing contract with an industry leading manufacturer and service provider, this program proposal’s goal is to get Arlington County closer to full BWC coverage of its sworn law enforcement personnel. The proposed equipment and support services will all be acquired immediately after the approval and acceptance of any grant funding, with the support services being maintained annually thereafter through the terms of the existing program contract for the duration of the award.
