The funds will be used to fund Crisis Response programs and supports, consistent with applicable federal requirements, including but not limited to the Elm City COMPASS Team (New Haven Crisis Response Team), which will be a team led by mental health professionals who will respond to some 9-1-1 calls for services whenever these calls do not include any medical or fire emergencies, violence or criminal activities.
