Public Safety Patrol Vehicle Procurement

This project is to purchase two patrol vehicles for the Town of Mammoth Police Department.  We plan to purchase two F-150 Police Responder vehicles. We will purchase the vehicles on state contract with an approved vendor.  Each vehicle will cost $70,000 for a total cost of $140,000.  This includes the vehicle and upfitting such as lights, cage, radios, radar and laptop.

Currently we do not have a reliable patrol vehicle to service our residents.  Currently cannot transport prisoners to the county jail because we do not have a vehicle that would make the trip safely.  We are a small rural very low income community and are in desperate need of patrol vehicles.
