Tununak Alcohol Enforcement Project

The tribe is applying for the BJA Tribal Justice Systems Program to support tribal efforts to prevent crime, especially crime related to alcohol and other substance abuse. The application is strategic, focusing on controlling the availability of alcohol within our tribal jurisdiction by implementing aggressive and consistent enforcement practices, and building in a prevention and education component. We need to be aggressive in enforcing our alcohol laws on all people living on or entering tribal lands.
