FY 2022 Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grant Program

The Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Criminal Justice Assistance will be applying for $293,954.00 to help improve our three certified forensic laboratory services.  The funding will be shared amongst those labs to help with various improvements such as continuing education that will assists much of the personal to maintain certain certifications.  It will also be used for  personal costs to improve the timeliness of forensic results by reducing the number of backlogged cases, expand existing opioid services, and purchase much needed supplies for Toxicology needs.
