Humane Remote Restraint Devices Purchase

The proposed project for the 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant monies is for the Tooele City Police Department to procure humane remote restraint devices that provide law enforcement officer additional non-lethal restraint devices that are fast, efficient, and are not designed to cause pain. These devices increase safety for officers as well as subjects involved, thus mitigating the need for force, reducing possible injury to both the subject and officers, and reducing the risk of financial and human costs associated with uses of force.
