Strengthening Downtown St. Louis Public Safety Program

The purpose of the Downtown St. Louis Enhanced Public Safety Initiative (EPSI) is to improve the functioning of the overall criminal justice system in approximately 2 square miles of the Downtown and Downtown West Neighborhoods in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Beneficiaries of the EPSI will be residents, businesses, and visitors who will see reduced crime and improved quality of life. Additional goals include higher population density, lower vacancy, increased tourism, and increased sales tax revenue.
