Courthouse Security Project

The Hancock County Commision proposes to implement the Hancock County Courthouse Security Project. The purpose is to update the current security measures to make it a secure and safe space for employees and visitors alike while visiting the Hancock County Courthouse. Project activities include replacing all security cameras in the building as well as cabling and directing them to a central location. New NVR hubs will be a part of the project as well. Also as part of the project, we will replace the access control system and the panic button system building wide. Expected outcomes include: New cameras and NVR capable of increased video retention; new secure access in the building; new panic system. The citizens, employees, and residents of Hancock County are the intended beneficiaries of the project.
