2023 Project Safe Neighborhoods for the Western District of Kentucky

Pursuant to the Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) initiative, the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Kentucky has assembled a PSN Team to develop and implement a comprehensive, collaborative, and community-based approach to reducing violent crime. The PSN Team’s 2023 grant strategy will be used to reduce violence crime through community outreach and engagement, particularly in the city of Louisville through prevention and intervention efforts focused on at-risk youth. The PSN Team plans to leverage the success of its competitive subaward solicitation process for prior year award funds to identify additional subrecipients in the district to carry out its project goals.
