The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation (PBPN) proposes to deploy BWCs on all 22 of its uniform and
sworn Tribal Police Department law enforcement officers. PBPN further intends to develop a
comprehensive BWC policy and training program, which will serve to formalize the policies,
procedures, intentions, and expectations for BWC use by Tribal Police Department officers. The
program as proposed will benefit members of the PBPN community, Tribal Police Department
officers, and other key criminal justice agencies and stakeholders in the region.
