Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program

The North Slope Borough will use JAG funds for overtime costs to strengthen the operational capacity of the North Slope Borough Police Department. By addressing the financial burden caused by unexpected overtime expenses, the project aims to ensure a continuous and effective police presence across the vast and challenging North Slope region to continue its mission of protecting and serving its communities, promoting safety, trust, and well-being among residents.
