Tasers, Quickcone and NIBRS Project.

The City of Fairbanks has been allocated $36,966 in FY 2023 JAG funding. With this amount, the Fairbanks Police Department plans to pay the fourth year of a five-year taser lease, purchase 40 traffic cones, and pay for the police department's data management team overtime for NIBRS compliance. These projects will help to promote the mission of the Fairbanks Police Department to serve the public with integrity, wisdom, courage, and compassion and work in partnership with the community to make Fairbanks a great place to live, work, and visit.
