Patrol, Investigative and Training Equipment Project

The disparate jurisdictions of the City of Florence and Lauderdale County will use JAG funds for law enforcement equipment, training gear and supplies.  Specifically, the City of Florence will use JAG funds for two radar systems for increased traffic control, a forensic light and camera system to capture detailed evidence in criminal investigations, and three locking gun vaults for secure storage of weapons in patrol vehicles. Lauderdale County will use JAG funds for simunitions guns, ammo and protective gear for officer training and for 13 school resource officer individual response kits for use in medical emergencies in local schools.
