Intelligence Gathering, Surveillance Equipment Enhancements to Facilitate Officer Safety.

The disparate jurisdictions of the City of Gadsden and Etowah County will use JAG funds for intelligence gathering using Tactical Equipment to enhance Officer Safety. The intelligence gathering equipment will consist of one camera system wit a 4G camera and thermal capability; one camera system with WIFI camera and a pole adapter and twenty eight infrared laser and white light illumination systems. This equipment will facilitate the safe gathering of video intelligence, while keeping officers at a safe distance from an active and potentially dangerous crime scene.
