Texarkana Arkansas Police - state of the art camera technology and analytics software for use in our City's Downtown Entertainment District; Miller County Sheriff's Office - radio upgrades

The disparate jurisdictions of the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department and the Miller County Sheriff’s Office will use JAG funds for technology improvements and equipment. Specifically, the Miller County Sheriff’s Office will use JAG funds to continue its transition from out-of-date radios to newer and more modernized radios. Texarkana Arkansas Police Department will use JAG funds to install and implement a state-of-the-art security camera system in the Texarkana Entertainment District. This will promote transparency, accountability, and public trust by ensuring objective and effective evidence collection.
