FY 2023 BJA Equipment Grant

The City of Paragould Police Department will use JAG funds to increase and replace body worn cameras and ancillary devices among patrol officers to increase transparency, legitmacy, and trust with the citizens and media; along with evidentiary processes for court.  New active shooter armor is to be purchased for officers to replace aging ones, to provide a layer of protection to the responding officer as they engage in a active shooter event.  In addtion to the body worn cameras and vests, new portable radios are to be purchased to replace the aging and broken ones.
