Utilize grant funding to support response to the opioid epidemic.

The city of Redondo Beach will utilize the FY 23 local JAG award to purchase opioid reversal agent Naloxone, and to conduct training on the administration of such for sworn law enforcement personnel. Redondo Beach has seen a significant increase in opioid related overdoses, particularly in the City's unhoused population. The goal of the program will be to prevent fatal overdoses from both prescription and illicit opioid drugs.
