FY 2023 Mobile High-Speed Global Internet System The goal of this project is to purchase equipment to assist the Sheriff’s office with internet connectivity in challenging environments.

The County of San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s office will use FY 2023 JAG funds to purchase two mobile high-speed global internet systems, two one-year internet subscriptions, and two battery systems with solar panels to assist the Sheriff’s office with internet connectivity in challenging environments. This project will provide internet connectivity in rural, unincorporated areas of San Luis Obispo County where cellular, or landline internet is not available, primarily during large scale incidents.
