Surveillance Upgrades at Yuba County Detention Facility

The Yuba County Sheriff's Department will utilize Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds to upgrade the surveillance system at the Yuba County Detention Facility, with a primary focus on preventing, detecting, seizing, and stopping the presence and use of contraband cellphones within the facility. The upgraded surveillance system will bolster efforts to prevent the introduction of contraband cellphones, detect illicit activities promptly, and neutralize the effectiveness of these devices within the facility. This project will safeguard the well-being of inmates, staff, and the wider community while promoting the successful rehabilitation of detainees in a secure and controlled environment.
