Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $46,169)

The City of Merced Police Department will use JAG funds to improve the effectiveness and safety of officers by purchasing night vision goggles, laser aiming devices, ballistic helmets, and mounts for night vision goggles. In addition, the PD will use JAG funds for the early stages of implementing a Real Time Crime Center by purchasing a high-powered desktop computer.
