City of Chico and County of Butte FY23 JAG Project

The City of Chico Police Department will use JAG funds to purchase a cloud-based, centrally managed door access system to provide increased security and ease of access.  The enterprise cloud-based software can be accessed from any device and has emergency lockdown capabilities with remote activation as well as real-time reporting and activity logs.  The Butte County Sheriff’s Office will purchase two-factor mobile authentication devices for staff to access sensitive encrypted data while working in the field.  In addition, a night vision device will be purchased to enhance tactical response operations.
