2023 JAG for the City of Salinas and County of Monterey

The disparate jurisdictions of the City of Salinas and County of Monterey will use JAG funds for technology equipment and body armor. Specifically, Salinas will use JAG funds to lease automated license plate recognition camera systems to enhance capabilities to prevent, investigate, and solve crimes. Monterey County will use JAG funds to provide investigators and other law enforcement officials in the District Attorney’s Office with ballistic vests to protect them while working in high risk field situations.
