Law Enforcement Digital Forensic Project: Enabling law enforcement to effectively and efficiently perform forensic analysis on electronic devices by providing for training, equipment and software.

The City of Westminster will use the JAG funds for digital forensics. It will provide for the purchase of needed training, equipment, supplies and software capabilities for analyzing digital cell phones and digital electronic devices, such as computers and/or laptops, by identifying, acquiring, processing and reporting on data stored electronically. It will enable law enforcement to effectively and efficiently perform these digital forensic analyses, which have a direct impact on internet crimes against children as well as other online threats to victims of all ages.
