FY23 JAG Body Worn Camera & Equipment Purchase

The Stratford Police Department started an initiative in 2016 to replenish, improve, and expand its digital video evidence system. With JAG grant funds, the department is seeking to continue expanding its evidence system capacity through the purchase of eight additional Motorola V300 personal body worn cameras (BWCs) and a new docking station to charge and transfer recorded evidence. The additional BWCs and docking station will enhance the efficiency of officers as they collect real time video evidence, record statements, document crime scenes, and provide transparency to the community in which they serve.
