BWC Server

Located in Panama City, Florida, the Panama City Police Department (PCPD) proposes to add an additional WatchGuard storage server for essential body-worn camera (BWC) footage. The purpose is to ensure storage is available for officer BWC footage to be stored per Florida state statutes. PCPD police officers add, on average, nearly 3,700 events per month. An additional storage server is an essential piece of continuation for the BWC program. BWC’s remain a key component of PCPD’s goals of promoting officer effectiveness and helping community relations by building trust and creating transparency. An additional WatchGuard storage server would alleviate storage concerns for approximately three years.
