Digital Forensic Evidence Collection Equipment

The City of North Miami Beach will use JAG funds to acquire new, updated equipment needed for the North Miami Beach Police Department (NMBPD) Crime Scene (CS) unit.  Acquiring this new and updated equipment will contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the operations of the CS unit.  This JAG funding would allow the purchase of new, updated crime scene equipment that would directly impact the quality and efficacy of investigations.  It would further result in improved evidence collection and analysis, officer safety, adherence to standards, public trust, and as well as providing a competitive advantage to the NMBPD CS unit, allowing the unit to remain at the forefront of forensic technology.
