This funding will provide the Technology, the installation, 2 public safety mobile work stations, necessary monitors and rapid response and mass casualty equipment.

The Daytona Beach Police Department manages active shooter incidents, National Speedway Races, multi-day Music Festivals, Weather Incidents, as well expanded jet runways, and high speed crashes on our roads and others with the close proximity to the 95 Corridor. Add to this an additional million visitors during the tourism year round.  This funding will be used for the internal mobile technology, design, and installation costs.  Within this multi-use vehicle, DBPD will have the ability to conduct crowd management, multi-jurisdictional coordination and utilize new technology for real time monitoring and assistance.
