Electroshock Weapons and equipment, Tactical Rifle Shields, and Forensic Evidence Drying Cabinets

PROPOSAL ABSTRACT

This proposal seeks funding through the JAG program to enhance officer safety and law enforcement capabilities within the city of Gainesville. The allocation will be utilized to procure rifle shields; replacement electroshock weapon, holsters, and power modules for non-lethal force; and forensic evidence drying cabinets. These investments aim to safeguard officers from rifle threats, provide effective and temporary use of force options, and ensure the meticulous preservation of evidence pertaining to violent crimes.
