Continuation and Improvement of Law Enforcement Services

The City of Tallahassee and Leon County propose to support the continuation and improvement of law enforcement services.  Grant funds will promote greater public safety, augment proactive solutions, and utilize advanced technology to formulate prevention, response, and resolution proposals.  Expected outcomes from the purchase of equipment and supplies include improved officer protection, rapid identification of unknown persons, development of comprehensive, collaborative intelligence, and reduced speeding-related traffic crashes.  Subrecipient activities include continued booking services for all arrested juveniles.  Grant activities will benefit those who live and work within Leon County and all law enforcement agencies who utilize the juvenile booking services.
