Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $200,925)
The City of St. Petersburg will use JAG funds for overtime to continue reducing crime and effectively resolve issues that affect the quality of life in city neighborhoods and support targeted enforcement activities, crime prevention programs, and community partnerships, as well as focus additional resources on crime prevention and law enforcement initiatives.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office will use JAG funds to purchase Raptor Reunification base software and unlimited licenses for use by members of the Pinellas County Reunification Taskforce for the purpose of reunifying persons efficiently with family after a catastrophic or emergency event. This includes participating private schools.
