IFPD and BCSO 2023 JAG

The Idaho Falls Police Department is requesting JAG funds to purchase a Conex Shooting Range (any overage will be covered by the agency). City police officers respond to many complex and dangerous situations making their safety and the safety of our citizens of upmost importance. Access to an indoor firearms range will provide officers with a safe, contained, and quiet live-fire small-arms training facility. Ultimately giving officers better-rounded firearms training.
Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is requesting JAG funds to purchase a Morse Watchmen 6 module locker system, precision scales, and a Fentanyl fume hood. County deputies will utilize the Morse Watchmen 6 Locker System to secure K9 training drugs, the precision scales are for more accurate weighing of evidence and training aids, the Fentanyl fume hood is for overall deputy safety while processing narcotics and unknown substances.
