Technology and officer safety improvements

The disparate jurisdictions of the Quincy Police Department and the Adams County Sheriff's Department will use the JAG funds for technology and officer safety improvements. Specifically, the Quincy Police Department and the Adams County Sheriff's Departments will use JAG funds to purchase a cell phone forensic device. The Adams County Sheriff's Department's remaining share of JAG funds will be used to purchase storage racks for eighteen vehicles. The Quincy Police Department will use the remaining JAG funds to purchase a ballistic shield for a patrol vehicle. All items purchased will be utilized in the City of Quincy and Adams County.
