Fort Wayne Police Dept/Allen Co Sheriff's Dept- FY23 JAG Project

The City of Fort Wayne (within Allen County) ranks as the 2nd most populous municipality in Indiana and 83rd most populous in the United States. The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) works in partnership with the Allen County Sheriff Department (ACSD/disparate jurisdiction). The FWPD will utilize their funding to purchase equipment for their Emergency Services Team, ballistic helmets for the Gang & Violent Crimes Unit, and AV equipment and desks for the Real Time Crime Center that is being implemented. ACSD will utilize funding for the purchase of Watchguard In-car Video systems, equipment, supplies, radars, and external hard drives.
