FY23 - Rapides Parish JAG Program

Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office will use their allocated funding for the purchase of equipment to further law enforcement endeavors in the Parish of Rapides. This equipment will aid officers in patrols of neighborhoods, arrests, investigations, search and seizures of persons and/or property suspected of illegal activity, including illegal drug activity. The Alexandria Police Department will use their allocated funding for the purchase of equipment to further law enforcement endeavors in the City of Alexandria. This equipment will aid investigators in the creation of 2D/3D diagrams and animations that facilitate the presentation of complex cases. This equipment will aid officers in documenting evidence digitally while still in the field, in addition to helping to maintain the digital custody of evidence.
