The Webster Police Department has recently submitted a grant to the Office of Grants and Research for the State of Massachusetts in an attempt to implement a Body Worn Camera Program. To be fiscally responsible and reduce future costs, the Department is looking to utilize a cloud-based storage system to reduce the need for physical servers and defray the associated costs. The Webster Police Department would utilize the funds allocated to them ($13,815) to assist with funding the purchase of a cloud-based storage system for use not just for Body Worn Cameras but also for In Car Videos.
