FY 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial JAG Program

The FY 2023 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program allows states, tribes and local government to support a broad range of activities to prevent and control crime bases on their needs and conditions.  Washington County will use grant funds to support a variety of law enforcement projects, holiday and communty events, traffic enforcement initiatives, crime prevention patrols, equipment purchases and emergency events.  The Sheriff's Office is projecting $6,719 for overtime, covering salary/fringe benefits, as well as designating $15,263 for equipment.
