Montgomery County FY 2023 Byrne JAG Program

Montgomery County will use funds to purchase night vision capabilities for members of the Special Operations Division to provide safer working conditions for the officers and the ability to identify and locate suspects who may be lying in wait, holding a weapon, or attempting to conceal themselves from law enforcement. Additionally, this equipment will assist our search managers and canine officers in locating critically missing persons in low-light environments. The program funds will provide mission critical equipment that increase the safety, situational awareness, and overall capabilities of the Special Operations Division.
