2023 JAG Funding for Needed Equipment

The disparate jurisdictions of Biddeford, Sanford, and York County will use JAG funds for equipment and supplies. Biddeford will use JAG funds to replace in-car video equipment, computer tablets, and a polygraph machine. Sanford will outfit five team members with protective equipment to include ballistic plate and carrier, carrying pouches and panels, and helmets. York County will purchase in-car laptops with extra batteries for patrol deputies. The equipment and supplies will assist officers in the performance of their duties and providing protection to the community and themselves.
