Purchase of Protective Gear, Dictation Software, and Modification of Mobile Response Vehicle

The City of Holland will use JAG funds for three activities: purchase protective gear and uniforms for the Mobile Field Force Team, purchase dictation software and microphones, and re-purpose their old mobile command vehicle into a victim services unit response vehicle. These activities will provide city police officers with greater protection in the field, streamline the report submission process for officers, and provide their victim services unit and the community members they serve with a comforting space following a traumatic event.
