Muskegon Prosecution-Law Enforcement JAG FY 23

The disparate jurisdictions of City of Muskegon, City of Muskegon Heights and County of Muskegon will use JAG funds for prosecuting ordinance issues and technology improvements. Specifically, the City of Muskegon will use JAG funds for prosecuting city ordinances cases dealing with neighborhood issues. The City of Muskegon Heights will use JAG funds for updated technology and software to assist with hiring new officers, reporting and pursing accreditation through the State of Michigan. The County of Muskegon will not receive any funding but will benefit as the funding will address enforcement, prosecution and investigation capabilities.
