Justice Assistance Grant supporting law enforcement with equipment necessary to be more effective and efficient with services provided to the community.

The City of Bismarck will use JAG funds for equipment that will protect police officers working in the line of duty. The medical equipment will be utilized during emergencies and will protect officers and the public from further injury. The storage equipment will be utilized to store high value equipment and maintain more accountability of this equipment.

The County of Burleigh will use JAG funds for equipment that will protect police officers working in the line of duty. Ballistic Shields, entry tools, and patrol rifles will be utilized during emergencies and will protect officers and the public from further injury.

All requested equipment is above and beyond the means of the current budget of both departments.
